  Jesse Jackson Saves The Day
The Reverend Jesse Jackson shows off his amazing character, leadership and intelligence, this time in the NFL. I just wish he could do such great things more often, so I can have a laugh.

Hello. It's Lindsey from newswriting. :-)

I'm kind of split on what you linked to above. On one hand, I kind of agree with Jackson...it seems a little severe to ban the guy for one year, just for being tactless. Yet, on the other hand, I'm not sure why the Reverend felt the need to get involved. (Or Ralph Nader for that matter. WTF?) Since I'm not too familiar with the issue, I could definintely be missing something. Am I?

No, you're not. Its really pretty simple. The only thing you might not know is that TO has had a history of doing things like this, which can really distract a team.

Jesse gets involved in any event that will get him some free publicity. It's a shame too, because at one time he was a viable leader in our country that helped us maintain our moral compass. JJ is just another example of the leader becoming more important than the cause.
