The Economy is Something to be Proud About One thing you won't hear Democrats attacking Bush over any time soon will be the economy. Earlier this year I predicted that the unemployment rate would reach a 4.9 percent low. I was wrong; the current rate is 4.7 percent. People are more confident about their job security and are now spending more. Companies are also more confident and are investing more money into business  ¶ 8:04 PM
